Our aim is to support Mitras and Friends who are engaged in deeper Dharma practice, particularly Insight practice, in the context of Triratna.
The theme this time is Nonduality. This is an interesting and important area of insight practice, but also one that can, perhaps surprisingly, cause some controversy.
Nonduality is discussed in the Buddhist tradition, and in various of Bhante’s talks, but it is also strongly associated with Advaita, particularly modern Advaita teachers. Can we, as Buddhists, make use of Advaita teachings, and if so, are there pitfalls and assumptions to avoid?
